I had never heard of dishwasher salt until today.Town well here is quite soft , opposed to where I grew up, where I was the dishwasher. I do most of the dishes here, but have always had a dishwashing machine.Is your salt symbol a drop symbol and rinse aid a crystal? Ours is and it is completely back to front

Nope, don't even have that on there. I may have to go to Pekin sometime, and see if water softeners have salt lights there. I have no wish to go anywhere near the lair of The Evil One.(my sister).

Today the office smelt like a greasy spoon, everyone had a cooked breakfast cob/sub apart from me
