Morning all, apparently there is some bad weather about, can't say I've noticed

Rudely awoken this morning by the banging going on next door (workmen) just as I was enjoying a nice lie in, oh well.

I actually had to drive to the shops this morning as I had too much weight to put into my rucksack..
Usually, I cycle round the chaos in the car-park at the Favel. Today I had to endure it

Sausage casserole just about to get going in the slow cooker, and yes it will be a potsy sized portion

I've spoken to the doctor and she recommends absinthe - a large dose four times a day until the symptoms disappear.

Sunny but damn windy again and it's set to increase in speed.

Just been for a 2.5 mile ride, first time any of my bikes have been out for around 3 weeks

Felt like I was about to have a heart attack when I got home, hopefully it is just the cold I'm recovering from that has ruined my lungs?
The wind is brutal here and we are only getting a brief taste of Imogen

I'm sending Henry up on the next gust of wind.

He does not like Imogen, it's very noisy.

Rain has started here now, thankfully I went out before it arrived and have no intention of leaving the house again today

It isn't really cold but there's a damp wind out there that steals the heat from you. Back for a nice pot of tea, heating on again.

Blimey. Respect. I abandoned any thoughts of my afternoon ride/swim, on account of the madness going on outside.
