I think I might need to accept the inevitable and buy a new pair of shoes.

Morning all! I am feeling a bit better today and had a better night's sleep.

I see that "summer days" has sent me over some grey clouds to cheer me up.

It has stopped raining at the moment and there is a large gap in the cloud to the south with blue sky showing!
I didn't send them far enough.... Some lingered here... I sent the blue sky to cheer!

Did you get that hail?
Yes... In my face, hence why I was cycling looking at the crossbar this morning.... It was hard, there was even a short flurry of snowflakes (just a minute or so). The hail stones lasted on the ground for several hours where they piled up!

Just assembled it. Looks like the missus wants to use it first to chop up the wood we have for the Chimnea. Impressed with it - mitre angles look accurate and can be adjusted, Also has 'high and low' stops for fine adjustment of the 90 and 45 degree cuts. Laser sight is accurate also.

Darn it, my missus did knick it for two hours chopping bits.

I had decent weather all day, but too cold to ride, and there is a threat of snow. It began in the forecast as 3-6 inches, was downgraded yesterday to 1-3, now may be less than 1. And mid-60's F next week! In non-weather news, Aldi did not have the indoor cycling trainer they advertised. Because the app doesn't always match the merchandise for my area. Well, I don't need a bike trainer for much longer, so I decided that vermiculite, potting soil, and plant starting materials would be a better use for the money at this point. All my tomato plants and pepper plants are now nestled snugly in their potting soil, surrounded by their plant starting tray in the kitchen.

Mrs. GA went vegan for today, btw.

I feel sorry for anyone who was out in that weather yesterday. Those troops exercising on Salisbury plain at the moment couldn't have found it very pleasant. I went out later to fit a new water butt and drain pipe and found my hands were freezing cold in the wind.
