Well, it looks quite good against the sky from the sitting room window.
I've just asked Mr K if he knew any association with pampas grass, he said he'd vaguely heard of it but hadn't taken any notice. I'm obviously too naive. If people have commented on it which they probably have over the years, I must have showed that I was clueless about the hidden meaning.

We may get to 7 or 8 degrees here today, and if that isn't Spring, I don't know how else to describe it. Although it was 0C when I went to inspect busses this morning, and had to stop halfway round for hot chocolate. Oh, I should have had meat, as well. Vegetarianism continues unabated. Well, for Mrs. GA anyway.

Some neighbors of mine have pampas grass, very tall pampas grass, all along their property. That is all.

@PeteXXX - OT from cake, but how often do you do the Thetford Forest Trail? Mr Hop used to go down there and to Brandon with a couple of friends, but one died and the other started working abroad. He's not taken the MTB out in far too long.

It'll be my 2nd visit. We went last summer, and some friends rode the trail there a few months ago.

My dad had a large clump of Pampas Grass in his garden that the centre had gone a bit rotten. When he was cutting it back to replant the good bits, a mosquito snuck up his trouser leg and bit him on the scrotum.
