Ew.

A lot of those attractions on Route 66 aren't so hot on the food. I live near Dixie Trucker's Home in McLean, Illinois. Meh.

I bought a bottle of cheap Tesco Extra Dry Vermouth on Friday to use to cook my risottos.
I just remembered about dry martinis, and gave it a go for the first time in my life tonight.. A 60/20 split between gin and vermouth, in my case stirred not shaken. For reasons of Health and Safety, I shall be keeping my Walther PPK in my shoulder holster for the next few hours.

Noel Coward's recipe for the perfect Martini: fill a glass with gin then wave it in the general direction of Italy.
