Morning all! There is a nice golden sunrise at the moment, light blue skies with a few clouds around. It looks like it might be a good day.

I might have bought an M&S pork pie. I don't care what anyone else thinks, I'm going to eat it.

I have a Holland's potato & meat pie, it is one day out of date so wish me luck

I'm looking forward to a slice of the Melton Mowbray pork pie we brought during our visit to Melton Mowbray this morning.

I've had a bit of a Newboulds pork and black pudding pie today

I'll see your pies and i'll raise you the range on offer at Cockburns of Bedale

It's just struck me that very shortly I'm going to go north of the river for the first time this year.

I can't decide whether to get up, or wait for one of the sleepyheads to remember it's Mothering Sunday and bring me a cup of coffee. I might be very dehydrated though by the time they wake up.

Of course I could sneak down make myself a drink then hid the cup in the bedside table so they don't know they were late
