Dinner tonight is something using potatoes, and bacon I think.... It could all be layered with cream and maybe some sneaked in vegetables.... I think it's Swiss chard that needs using up at the moment....
Only problem is the house is cold and I've made this spot on the sofa warm.... It's going to be hard getting up!

Hmm that would be easier....but harder to sneak in veg for the reluctant teen! (Last nights carrot soup had also got fennel, New Zealand yam, and some of the Swiss chard!.... It was eaten reluctantly as "I'd served soup twice this week", the other time being his favourite fish chowder!

I had a huge slice of Beef and Guinness pie with mash and veg, washed down with a couple of pints of Original.
Nothing wrong with my appetite.
