The bigger tadpoles/froglets will tend to eat the smaller ones.
At our previous house we found that spiders would snatch them if they went too close to the sides of the pond. They also have to run the gauntlet of the dragonfly nymphs. There should be some in there but I haven't seen any yet.The bigger tadpoles/froglets will tend to eat the smaller ones.
Slowmotion fashion you mean!!Intake pipe has stuck nicely. Bodge it God ! (In true Blazed fashion).![]()
Mrs R bought a really expensive rug for our living room. I've just discovered I'm seriously allergic to it. I've rolled it up and put it in the hallway. She's not going to be v pleased when she gets back.

It is amazing how quickly life will establish itself in a pond, in the first year we had tadpoles, damsel flies, and dragonflies.
Did you not notice before you bought it?@vernon - we've come to an agreeable compromise. I've agreed that the carpet can be in the house. She's agreed that its allergenicity needs to be dealt with somehow.

It's amazing what two bin liners and a plastic shopping bag can do for one's asthma.
......Mrs R is yet to see my solution![]()
Know your place, the Proff always knows best.I bought it???? There's only one pair of trousers in our house and they are not mine.
Can you not black list them?No.... they were incompetent before Lansley. It's the same old faces doing the rounds. They screw up one area, then jump ship before the brown smelly stuff intersects the rotating blades, and land a job elsewhere... where they then proceed to screw up... And so the cycle continues.
Why did you get them to do that?I've got people digging up the road outside my house .... It's going to be noisy outside today!
