I have some shopping to do this morning to waste some time whilst I wait for Mum & Dad to get back from hospital with Dads scan results...

Looks like a nice day out there but it has been doing the whole look sunny blue skies one minute pour with rain and hail the next so who knows!

Feel much better after a plate of sausage and eggs, I will cancel the taxi I was planning to get home and ride instead

I am now waiting to go shopping as eldest removed keys from his wardrobe and now does not know where he put them... I am threatening to take him in his onsie... he is unamused at this suggestion

Hurrah! Tis good news... it seems the first consultant was a little over zealous and a bit of a prophet of doom... so after endless scans, tests and basically scaring the daylights out of us all.... Dads cancer is just in the prostrate not spread elsewhere and it is in the early stages so its hormones then radiotherapy and all will be fine and dandy. It is not anywhere else and they are even really flexible over the radiotherapy appointment times cos they understand that going to the hospital for an hour a day for up to 7 1/2 weeks is a bit of an intrusion into normal life... so yay and hurrah and stuffs... such a huge relief
