I'm glad someone is posting positive messages.

It has lost some of it's speedSummer bike has been brought out of storage, it hasn't seen the outside world since Last July.
Tyres pumped up, and is hopefully good to go, a short test ride coming up to confirm it is up for a few commutes![]()

I can now balance on a bicycle as well. I just can't get on and off it without assistance yet!@SatNavSaysStraightOn rides a trike.
I think the bigger question is what do I have to wear on a tricycle. The law states this...I think you have to wear a helmet in Australia
"the rider of a bicycle must wear an approved bicycle helmet securely fitted and fastened on the rider’s head, unless the rider is exempt from wearing a bicycle helmet under another law of this jurisdiction."
Lights and reflectors
If you ride at night or in hazardous weather conditions, you must display all of the following:
Horns and bells
- A steady or flashing white light on the front of the bike that is visible for at least 200 metres
 - A steady or flashing red light on the rear of the bike that is visible for at least 200 metres
 - A red reflector on the rear of the bike that is visible for at least 50 metres when illuminated by a vehicle’s headlight on low beam

Your bike must be fitted with a working horn or bell to help sound a warning to other cyclists or pedestrians.
all to stay fit and legal. Plus I need to know at least 2 different territories regulations because we will be living in ACT (though we could actually be in New South Wales and commuting into ACT (Australian Capital Territory)) because ACT is so very small and city centre to ACT/NSW can be less than a couple of km's , plus the Victoria territory is only 250km away so a weekend away could easily see us cycling there as well... ahhhhh

Oooh yarn is always good, what are you making? I love making socks, especially if I sit at work using 5 dpns, people look at me slack jawed.Me and Wimps have blitzed the local shops, I'm now skint, and in the pub recovering.
(I may have bought some .. cough... quite a lot... of yarn)
Is it possible to have jeans that don't fall down without taking prudent precautions?I have new jeans that do not fall down and new upholstery that is fit for having an accident in or flashing to the world whilst riding my bike in a summer dress.
It took the fitting lady 3 hours to achieve that. She deserves vodka & valium. After 2 hours I may have become very akin to a petulant toddler.![]()
