I've had a busy day, grocery shopping, dropping off middle summerling back to Uni, back and friends visited with their mad dog! He got very mucky in the water, but in the end we wore him out (slightly). Though I've just realised my friend is due to have hip surgery later this year so I may have worn her out too!

I heard about the new job early. I start tomorrow night and I dont have to cycle there because they put on a free agency bus Im also considering purchasing myself a new motorcycle.

Steamin Billy - fine ale from a local micro brewery
Mithaas - one of the best Indian sweet shops in Leicester
Kochuri - spicy lentil dumplings deep fried, a favourite of mine.

Fun at the LEICESTER Riverside Festival. Just for @raleighnut we dropped into the Western for a pint of Steamin' Billy before stoppong at Mithaas for a bag of kochuris.

I'd have been on the Mild instead of the 'Billy' (I actually know the real Billy, he's one of the 3 brothers, they used to brew 'Leatherbritches Ales as well at the 'Bentley Brook Hotel' in Fenny Bentley, their parents place)

Lithuania. Odd place so far. Long day in the saddle... started off warm but got cold later. Now showered, unkinking and warming up while waiting for dinner. I have a large glass of my favourite beer. Lithuania is redeeming itself

Back home.

Had an idiot in an Audi A5 just off my rear bumper at 80 mph trying to bully me out of the way (no I wasn't cycling today ) but I was keeping a safe distance from the cars in front. I gave him a free screen wash, and when he started flashing his lights, I flashed my rear fog lights, then put my hand out of the window and pointed at the car in front.

Once the traffic cleared, I moved over as did the other drivers in front but the driver and another audi driver roared past at over 100. Passed him about 3 minutes later stuck in traffic for the M6 junction 9 on the M56 as I sailed past. Baseball capped idiot.

Before that, we had the old duffer swapping lanes in traffic and tailgating everyone.

I've just found out tonight that my Dad seemed to faint at a bus stop on Friday and was taken by ambulance to hospital (lots of facial grazes/cuts and he's on warfarin). Eventually discharged, and he made his way home by two buses rather than do the sensible thing of getting a taxi. I'll have to see if I can get a visit in this week!

Just on the outskirts of London, but one of my siblings lives nearby and has taken Mum shopping today to get some food in (and sent a photo so the rest could see the damage!)
