Verily! I thought Calais was pretty flat but, after you go inland from the dunes, it is decidedly lumpy!Hilly was it ?
I was up and down like a whore's drawers!! There quite a steep, twisty climb near the end but you do finish with a nice 7 mile flat bit. Having risen at 3.00am and returned home at 8.00 pm, I feel my sloth is excusable!

Whilst it was pouring down in France, not a drop in Herne Bay. Mrs v R was entertaining girl friends in the garden! A few heavy showers today so I've got the evening off!

We had a very heavy rain shower earlier, the factory floor was flooded yet again. We really need to move but it is just finding a suitable place.
In other news, our colleague with the broken elbow and can barely move her arm rang in today, it appears that the production manager and FD are are aware or the 'raised arms on the rollercoaster' picture.
