I had to use a ball too, I had to do this roll out thing to stretch out my back. OwwwwWe had to do squats with one foot on a ball ... Given how tired my legs were this week they weren't as bad as I was expecting... Maybe we did fewer of them than normal. She has made us do those tiptoe squats before!)
I must say, I now can't bend down without making a noise!!!It's your age dear, welcome to the club![]()
We did several and lots of squats on tip toe.
It's really not nice.

Never used a roller, she only has those small balls you use to destabilise yourself when doing an exercise and the rubber bands that I love for stretching my leg muscles!Now I am glad for only doing squats with arm raises.
The worst piece of equipment which I absolutely hate is the roller which our teacher makes us lie on while we do stuff normally done on lovely soft mats.
I make that a challenge sometimes ; moving without sound effects!
I was scared sitting on the yoga ball last night. I have to get over the fact that I will not break/burst things. She had me doing all sorts of stretches on it. The ball we use is about the size of a football, and it's used lots of ways, under a foot, or both hands, tucked in your back when half reclining, in between your legs to get your pelvic floor muscles working, or best of all - you loose control of your ball, it rolls off and you get a crafty 30 sec break whilst you retrieve itI was scared sitting on the yoga ball last night. We were meant to have that today. It's chucking it down instead, which is fitting as I'm still in a rather gloomy headspace. Good thing I "accidentally" over-ordered chocolate and ice cream on the last Sainsbury's order.A bit of blue sky thinking. It's grey at the moment. View attachment 132146
