Planted my Runner Beans outside, bet we get a frost.

Just washed both cars, and gave my alloys the 'wonder wheels' treatment, so the inside of the rims are all sparkly clean.

It's now started raining.

So it's all your fault I cannot get out on my bike

Runner, though a stringless variety. Can't remember which though as the beans came from last years crop and have done so for about 8yrs.

Well it's been a lovely day and I've had a lazy day cycling miles... In the single figures only, but I've had so many long mileage days it was bliss to have an easy day! And..... It stayed dry and even sunny for the homeward commute!

Clockwise, the bean inside the pod resembles a 'Pinto' Bean.

Gardening all done for the day, it looks like Cinders is ready for a ride.

Car all serviced. They say they did nothing but checks and change the fluids and filters, but they have clearly remapped the engine. It's running smoother and the power bands overlap better. Given that this is the first service and mine is one of the early Mk3s it's no surprise.. They are having it back in a couple of weeks to sort out a bit of door trim and the paintwork it has been rubbing on. I didn't know there was a problem but they found it and are going to fix it under warranty whilst I play with a courtesy car. No bother to me then.

I achieved a lot in the front garden this afternoon, a lot of weeding, pulled up a lot of roots and planted some pansies and sweet peas

Just not impressed with all the poo I found

Still, it is a good job done, the ground looks better and the sun is shining

I'd bet money that they've removed 'running in' mapping from the engine so that heavy footed beggars find it more difficult to 'thrash it' from new (and tight)
The oil will have been changed to 'normal' as well instead of the stuff they put in a new engine. (plus you can bet they've given it a good 'thrape' up the road to 'clear its tubes out')

I don't think so, I understand electrical current, for the life of me I can't understand cycling.
