Anyone else use the Egress Switch system for transferring files? They've started using it at work and it's a right pain in the butt.

Anyone know any useful short cuts?

ITV use it for transmission. I've heard Mr K mention it. I'll ask him about it later.

First day back.

Got very little done as the netbook I was given won't log in as it's not registered on the servers. So all the way back to my 'usual' office to locate my netbook. As expected, power supply had gone AWOL. Eventually found it. Back over to the office and had to beg and borrow for a screen and keyboard (working off a tiny netbook screen and keyboard will knacker my back). Oh, and got a tatty knackered old chair. I have complained.

Bloody useless the lot of em.

That's ridiculous seeing as they have had plenty of time to arrange things for you.

We've finally found a house we like, been accepted to lease it for 12 months

It's not available until the 11th, we have to be out off here on the 3rd.

I also now need to purchase a 4x4 to cover the 5 miles (each way) down 3 separate dirt tracks to get to it... I don't think the road bikes will get much use directly from the house!

Just your thing then. Is it in the middle of nowhere?

We see it here too but it's alright: it appears to be passing to the south so it should miss us.
