We seem to have avoided the worst of the recent rain over the last 3 weeks. Plenty of flooding in the Netherlands on the way through though

Big complex of thunderstorms moving through my area, about 8/10 of an inch of rain so far. That's okay, it gets kind of dry here this time of year.

Lovely sunshine for the Infants' sports day this morning. Good job the eggs are plastic.. The relay was hilarious, with a few children going when it wasn't their turn and some going the wrong way etc.. Only one fall, one child refused to run and one was ' too worn out'! So all in all, a success!
