Sunny until Saturday or Sunday here, but I got about 2.3 inches of rain yesterday.

Just occasional drizzle here so far.
Day off in lieu., wife is at work Been to mums and set up a freeview HDD recorder for her, now she won't miss programmes while at bingo etc.

Nowt much to do so set about the airing cupboard while listening to some heavy stuff...Fear Factory. Tumble drier creates so much dust so heave the lot out, hoover right through, chuck out a load of stuff we don't wear and found LOADS of socks

Actually that's not true, I do see one woman regularly on a Brompton-a-like bike, she is the worst cyclist I have ever seen, no road craft whatsoever, rarely has lights when it is dark, and wears a big coat with full hood even in summer.
