yeh - just like being back on tour! only this time out of suitcases and ikea rather than panniers and the trangia!

Although I do still own my familys' threshing table. This was a dining table with a seemingly infinite number of leaves you could insert to accomodate up to about 20 people, with a fifth leg in the center of the table.

We still have "custom combining", or itinerant threshing, in the U.S.. Many Mennonites from Central Kansas follow the crops as a way to continue in their agricultural way of life. There's been some set-tos with the Canadians over how far south Canadian teams may operate, or how far north American teams may operate.

Have to feed a lot more people than your(at that time, at least in my families' case) 10 person family.
