Morning. Guess what colour the sky is? In the meantime I am having my second drink before getting up, Gwen is going to have a snooze on my lap. It is a bit like morning assembly but in bed.

I think I might have cycled about 5 miles this afternoon trying to find a spot where I could take some pictures of the steam engine. I am sorry they are a bit blurred but it was grey and I couldn't get any closer.

Yesterday i had a brilliant day in Rye around the beach nature reserve with some friends. We saw Avocets, Curlews, Sandpipers and a Ruff as well as many more birds. It was hot and very windy but superb. My friends husband has a scope that cost thousands which links to his iphone and takes photos of what he can see. Consequently he ends up with stunning photos without carrying a camera.

Today is a day of craft workshop.

It's all rock and roll here.

Not hot here and I left the washing out overnight and it just feels slightly damp but dry! I need some sun and heat please.... So if you could send yours to the West Country I'd be grateful!

Morning! Breakfast has been consumed and I'm on my fourth cup of coffee.

Blue sky outside and a temperature expected to top at around 30C.

We're thinking a river cruise and then a trip round the Guggenheim today.

Its due to top 30 for the next few days in the South. I may just go and put the chair in the sea to cool down.

It was a Cathedral's Express run by Steam Dreams. I was told about it by a friend and checked it up on Steam info.
