A nice cool shower when I got back from work and now I'm sitting round in my tropical shorts.

Scorching weather today. I've declared the rest of the week as casual clothing week at work, it is way to hot to wear shirt and trousers.

I could have done with no clothes on at all in our office !

Brain bleach please.

So @coffeejo what do you think of the way I served our shish kebabs and couscous tonight. Marks out of 10.

They used a chopping board? It looks a trifle burnt.

Great idea if you've run out of plates.

I s'pose it beats chicken in a basket when you put the vinegar on.

I'm back. We are slowly getting online and sorted. but I don't have many pictures on the tablet yet and am about to go into town to get a temporary internet access sorted until we can get satellite broadband up and arranged. Just had to give someone the lat, long of the house so they could find it on google satellite images because the address is not in the system! once it was found he commented that someone had left the gate open on the corral and indeed they had.

Right some images, but only the 2. Hope you like them. They are taken from the only spot I get internet access from!

That's the outdoor entertainment area and the track leading away from the house... The corral is on the right, it's the gate that can just be seen.

That's my view north and it's absolutely lovely. Once I get my laptop up and running and the small camera card emptied onto it and pictures processed, I'll show you a little more scenery. It's been gorgeous recently with the hard frosts and wonderful Australian light, but I'm going to have to buy sun cream today because I caught the sun yesterday!

Right, need to sign off and go and do some shopping....

We have a bit of a heatwave going on here. Its in the 30s in the South, bit cooler in the North but due to break in the next couple of days.

After the last week of nights at-5C or below (Australia does not do insulated houses and the fire wood here does not give our much heat (coal is banned)) today hitting+ 18C feels like a heatwave here as well... Right off to do some more cleaning, IKEA assembly and mouse hole filling!

Lovely sunny and warm on the beach too. My honeysuckles are thankfully refragrancing the air after a very 'windy' Henry has just vacated my lap.
