I worked for BTI, if the UK arm wanted something we were part of them and it had priority. If we wanted something we were just a customer and could wait. Made international coordination very frustrating at times since other carriers were equally awkward.

I'm afraid no company these days that has a call centre is really interested in their customers. All call centres are for is isolating the complaints from the running of the company.

not on a dusty brown track they don't. or for that matter when it is a wet brown track.... both get as dirty as each other just as quickly.

The really strange thing is that the people on the other end of the phone seem to believe that if they have followed their own internal procedures/script, the customer should be grateful and happy, even though they are still getting entirely crappy service, month after month.
