There is a good picture in today's Mail Dail showing St Michael's Mount set against the Milky Way .

Just had a look on line. Awesome. I wonder when it was taken. It's been cloudy here all week. I've managed to get some reasonable sunset photos in previous years, nothing much this time.


It was actually sunny enough to try a swim in the sea today. It was a bit painful getting in, then I warmed up and had a lovely swim. I've learnt my lesson in previous years not to stay in too long, so I got out as soon as I started to cool down. I'd left a rhubarb and strawberry slice waiting for me with my towel as I'm always hungry after being in the sea.

Back from the comedy, not the strongest line up ever but chuckle worthy. Fortunately it is also the gin festival Hussah!!! Listen up @Hill Wimp @hopless500 @Smithbat No44 Gin with Cocoa nibs and cranberry. An initial hit of bitter gin that turns to cool, sweet chocolate. It's the future, I've tasted it.

The really strange thing is that the people on the other end of the phone seem to believe that if they have followed their own internal procedures/script, the customer should be grateful and happy, even though they are still getting entirely crappy service, month after month.

Just booked myself a test drive for a potential new car, it is 1 year old and in white, I usually go dark coloured to hide the dirt, this could be a mistake

I agree with you, mine is white and as you say it doesn't seem to show dirt as much. It is also cooler in the hot sunshine, that is if you touch it, which must conduct through to the interior.
