I've found that if there are too many then it doesn't show them all in the little alerts list and you can miss some of them as a result. I am now generally using the unwatched threads list and they little alerts list together as a guide, but i know I'm missing stuff!

That's a good idea. I often miss replies to threads. Though it would be easier not to miss stuff if the likes were separated from the replies and quotes.

The old wheel I bought arrived first thing this morning and I've been cleaning it. Never experienced tuneless tyres before, out with the thinners to clean off the glue. I've always liked large flange hubs.
The kitten was purring loudly in my ear, then he decided it needed a wash. Yeuk!

Did you mean tubeless or are they "flat"?

Are you going for glue or tape? YouTube is your friend for how to stick them on. If the tyre is new get it on the clean rim, pump it up a bit and leave for a week. This will help getting it on once the rim is glued. Keep all glue away fro the kitten! It is a right old sod to get off anything feline. Don't ask me how I know. One last tip, go to B and Q and buy some flux brushes.

Day off from the work malarkey, and it's :rain::rain::rain:. So much for a little spin. Sadly Mrs L has decided that means I can fix the wardrobe, and cut hole in side alley door so dem pusscats have easier access. Did explain that electric jigsaw in rain might be a poor choice, but assured it is only a shower

Slowly recovering from a lack of tea over the weekend. We went camping to get the kids involved with Sleep Wild. My stove (a rather nice MSR Dragonfly) went up like a petrol bomb. It proved rather tricky to put out I can tell you!
I'll bet. I have the Primus, but prefer the Trangia, for most of what I wind up doing.

I'm a bit of a stove junkie. I really thought about taking one of my classic Primus stoves. I have about ten of them! Couldn't find the one I wanted though. Then I considered the Biolite but ended up taking the MSR. It had been running well for a few minutes and then, woosh! Up it went. Too hot and flamey to adjust and releasing pressure would have meant adding a sudden influx of more petrol vapour.
I poured the kettle's contents over it and when that didn't work I poured a bottle of water over my tee shirt,(having taken it off) and smothered the flames with that.

Of course, I was travelling light so it was my only shirt. Made putting it back on and going out for a meal slightly awkward! Sorry sir, we don't serve arsonists! Found somewhere that doesn't discriminate against slightly charred people in the end!
