Are you going for glue or tape? YouTube is your friend for how to stick them on. If the tyre is new get it on the clean rim, pump it up a bit and leave for a week. This will help getting it on once the rim is glued. Keep all glue away fro the kitten! It is a right old sod to get off anything feline. Don't ask me how I know. One last tip, go to B and Q and buy some flux brushes.

Thanks for the info, the dreaded alter krekt is messing about. I have been polishing up the hub and it is coming up nicely.

I'm not looking forward to next Monday afternoon. Whilst we were walking round Tamworth in the Sunshine on Saturday I broke a tooth. I've just been to the dentist and he's told me the tooth is a dud, its got to come out, next Monday afternoon its extraction time.

I had ALL my top teeth extracted in one go! It was the clatter of each one as they were dropped into the metal bowl that I found most disturbing. TBH it didn't hurt at the time.... but rather sore afterwards. It was worth it though as due to a (frighteningly expensive) set of implants I can smile again and eat steak! I spent a large lump of my retirement money in the process, but I think it was worth it.

Feels weird though, I find. I live in shorts in the summer. The worst kind of weird is when you put tights on for the first time in ages. They feel wrong. But I don't suppose you have tried that.

Mostly when cycling at any temperature below about 15 though I did try tights under trousers a couple of times on long outdoors days but they were distinctly uncomfortable.
