She wasn't impressed. Apparently it's really expensive. All I can say to that is THANK YOU to the NHS as I'd be screwed otherwise.Waiting for the doctor to ring back about sorting out the prescription that the consultant recommended last week. Joy of joys.
@meta lon Not to bad thank you, not as bad as I was expecting. Its a bright and sunny morning in Coventry, ideal for a bike ridebut I'll have to pass on the ride this time,
I need to let things settle down before I ride, my hand is still swollen from Sunday's insect bite/sting
I had a look on the NHS website yesterday and they seem pretty sure that you can catch chickenpox from shingles but not shingles from chickenpox. I've no idea whether you can catch rickets from a rickety fence though.

They did say they might not have Internet where they are, obviously they were correctI wonder how Lu and TVC are. You'd have thought they'd let us know.

Yep, a gopro. Have to wait until we get home to upload the pics and video. Just to prolong your boredomDo you not take a waterproof camera down with you? It sounds beautiful! I've never tried diving!
Shingles is a reoccurance of the chickenpox virus that has laid dormant in the nerve fibers possably for several decades. So you can't catch shingles you first catch chickenpox. Although your initial infection of chickenpox may have been with light symptoms and was never diagnosedI had a look on the NHS website yesterday and they seem pretty sure that you can catch chickenpox from shingles but not shingles from chickenpox. Yes, haven't heard a peep out of them.
That postie must be pretty fed up by now.Just back from a 5 mile run, and a 1.5 mile bike ride chasing the postman around the village.
