Already I've had my first e-mail from SAGA. They don't hang about.


Anyway we had dim sum for breakfast . Someone had better explain it to Potsy.

I've never been proficient at making soda bread or wheaten farls, but I did bring back a couple of bags of flour with me, so I guess I should have another attempt! We've eaten all the bread we brought back with us.

I've always found it easy.. you don't have to do much apart from ( barely ) combining the ingredients

They are renewing the gas mains in our road for the next month, holes dug all over the place and the normally chaotic dash for a parking space is twice as bad, I got back from yoga last night and ended up parked that far from the house I needed a bus to get home

I've always found it easy.. you don't have to do much apart from ( barely ) combining the ingredients

It's one of those things that I regret not learning from my granny or my mum... Mum never cooks them these days... I ought to get another lesson and try on her hot plate! I remember the big flour bin and granny cooking them on the stove.

We had that... They weren't that brilliant at informing us... And it was only because I guessed they could be digging a hole by our drive that we shifted the car... Next day the hole was immediately behind where the car would have been, impossible to get off, and possibly could have been damaged during digging. They then left the barriers on our empty drive for the next 5 days!!

The actual day of disconnection was easy... Just no gas and they needed 5 mins access to the house at the end of the day to switch it back on again.
