There are at least 2 lizards here, a few hornbills, geckos and last night TVC evicted a rather large cockroach from the bathroom.

Rode to work for the first time in 2 weeks and loved how quiet the roads are.

Wet start today..but should get my job done ..we need a bit of rain going by the pond level...

I keep putting more in my pond... apparently only 11 mm of rain fell in July and since then only about 30 mm of rain so far in August! The garden desperately needs rain, I've lost a couple of plants due to how dry it is!

More mundane news.It is with much regret i have to inform you,we have lost our nine year old boiler.It put up a good fight,but age has worn it out.It's replacement has been placed on order.And will arrive as soon as possible.All is not lost,the good news is we are going out for tea tonight,so no washing up.We are also on his priority list.

The bad news continues, my potential new car is not ready for me to go see until tomorrow evening at the earliest now, I go back to work Saturday so if it's not ready it will be middle of next week before I can drive it,bugger!
