my dad had a mk2 cortina..1968 ..my first car was a 11973 mk3 .
i did a job for a guy a few months ago with a mint mk 5 cortina with 22k miles in the garage ..it was a stunner but boy do they look basic compared to what we have now..

as for number plates...VYN 395M on my dads new Transit and CYW 440H on the Triumph 2.5
i used to remember plates on all my cars and motorbikes..but i can only remember odd ones..

My Dad's first car looked a bit like this. I'm not sure if it was a Morris but I think so. He got it second-hand from a bloke down the road. Before that, it was motorbike and sidecar.

Thanks all, been 5 or 6 days now I think so little chance of her returning, 21 was a good age.

No more pets for a while, the hurt when they go gets worse every time.

Just back from a 14 mile run, we did stop at 8 miles for a coffee and tea cake though.

we had a superb dry blast around Wakerly followed by a sausage and cheese toastie and a lemmon cake parmenta or something..nice..im enjoying a couple of Fursty Ferret beers then its bbq time..
i feel very sunday ish...

Take my advice ... Sit at the bottom and admire the view, it will be much easier!
