Errrrrrrr. Let me think about that.. nope!
I'll find out at the weekend. Everything is set for 4 chooks arriving at the weekend, or at least will be when i have the supplies sorted...
Lovely photo. I presume the chooks are going to be for new laid eggs? How many are you having?
Hope your elbow pain settles quickly so that you can move about more comfortably. Have you been overdoing things!
Me, overdo it? Never

...
Well and truly I'm afraid. Taking it easier today. No kitchen floor scrubbing, no cleaning other than the chook house. So far all I have done is scrub out the pizza oven until some yellow tailed black cockatoos started to drop pine cones within a foot of me, then I bailed for safety. Wracked up a while load of garden leaves into pills which the high winds are now redistributing. Brought a load of wood in the house, and another 2 into the studio, cut up one of the pond lilies (think that is what it is, could be something else, actually I think it is something else thinking about it) and cleaned it before moving out to the pond with the 3 fish in it which has no vegetation whatsoever, rested in the studio with the wood burner lit (it was another bitterly cold night but luckily no frozen pipe so I think I have sorted that out...) found a newt of some description, so refilled the 3rd pond. Had lunch which is where I'm at now.
Yesterday I had to go to bed at 5pm having overdone it. Today I'll just carry on slowly in the chook house. I want to soft the dry soil to get the straw and shredded paper out of it and relay the original wooden floor in the chook house. Why they packed the soil with stuff to retain water is beyond me in the area they sectioned off for the Guinea pigs/rabbits. It was a stable originally and is only this area that is affected but the floor is really uneven and unstable there and it's not difficult to resolve! I've repaired over 2/3rds of it now, just need the dry soil to pack between the logs that make the floor. I'll post a photo to explain it better later. But I need to go now. I've only 3 hours of usable daylight left in there so need to crack on. There's a change in the weather happening... We always get high winds just before the weather changes.
If you want to see what's happening, I've a blog (mostly for family but...) links in the signature.
