That's awful, fossy. I'd definitely seek advice about that. Are you in a union? CAB may be able to help clarify your rights.

I've asked HR directly what are my options. I have also emailed my solicitor. They effectively want me back full time or not at all. I have enough accrued leave to do a 4 day week for the next 6 months, but they won't allow it.

The next option is a warning shot from my solicitor.

Meeting with HR and line manager today.

Blah blah how are you doing. Yadda Yadda your job is full time and if you are finding five days a week hard and it means you are in bed in the evenings, then you are out on your ear (reading between the lines).

My line manager is ok but we have some barstewards above him.

Might need some legal advice about disability discrimination. Bloody worked hard to get back to work. I have 5 months half pay sick holiday I could take. Grrrrr
Check the Equalities Act 2011, see if you're covered. Replaced the DDA 1995, amongst others.

HR have said I fall under it, but if I can't do full time I will get sidelined at best and certainly won't be doing this job. If I could afford to I'd now just work 3 days as it's killing my back. Will have to get my solicitor onto the liability admission then I can just work part time

That's the blue one.... I have first dibs.... Unless it is too small
It's way too big for Jo, you still have 1st dibs.
Anyway I was thinking of giving the fixie a run out, it's lighter than the mtb and a bit quicker

Not the best of solutions. But if they're saying you can do the job part time, they are at least admitting you're capable of doing the work.
Reasonable Adjustment should be considered when returning to work. They've made some, the "cheating seat", but have they gone far enough?
