I've just been for an interview too at a hotel in Grasmere, which according to Olive magazine is the most talked about opening of 2015 and I get the impression plenty of peeps would take any job there just to get their foot in the door.

You're not far wrong, after being parked at the end of Heathrow's north runway for two weeks it is covered in black stuff and grime. Wash for it tomorrow.

She's having her teeth scraped and an op to remove a little lump. Fingers crossed she'll be ok.

Ouch! I hope the head settles down soon. I can get mild migraines which affect my eyesight and brought on by fatigue and coffee and accelerated by exercise. I've had to stop early rides and sit on a wall or a bench somewhere until I can see where I'm going but mercifully I've never had the pains. A work partner used to get monster ones and I could see how much he suffered. So my sympathies.

Yes. I get the eye thing to. Zig-zag flashing lights. It takes 20 mins for the lights to pass. I once had them whilst interviewing someone for a job. They made quite an elaborate Powerpoint presentation - none of which I could see!

Morning all! It's a very misty morning here in Cambridge.

I'm working in London today, then meeting up with my sister, who's up for a few days.

I'm off to near Cambridge next week. I know it well. Have many times nearly got run over by bikes!
