Ok... I've just put a lemon, courgette and poppy seed cake in the oven (which had taken a long time to warm up until I realised this morning's power cut had put it in a funny mode).

We have friends here. Only been staying for three nights. Our son and fiance have just arranged to have their wedding here next summer. Marquee on the lawn behind the Anchor!!!! All the various families will be taking over all the rooms in the pub and probably half the village.

The Anchor is very nice, we had a cracking fish soup last time we were in. What a lovely venue for a wedding.
