My neighbours finally decided to take a strimmer to the grass/jungle that is their back garden today for the first time this year.
How sensible of them to wait for the most rubbish and wettest bit of weather for a long time before tackling it.
As they only got half way down their weedfest, I can only assume that they are waiting for tonight's rain to make it even harder for them to complete the job

I'm upset but aren't leaving CC for good. I'll post a little less and hang out where my friends are. Hopefully the racists, homophobes and bigots will keep away. I also hope Potsy doesn't leave - he's an important part of CC.

I'm just very disappointed in my fellow man (well, some men on here, anyway) and hadn't realised how nasty some people can be. I guess I shouldn't be affected by their posts but two or three people have really got to me over the last few days.

I've got a glass of Black Sheep ale and am listening to Mahler's 2nd. Things seem a little brighter.

Can't beat Mahler's Resuurection.
Hour and a half just flies by in the presence of such artistry.

As to your disappointment, I certainly hope you don't post less.
I understand your feelings, some people can be very callous.
The net provides an anonymity that is bad in a few cases, but for the most part , people on here are very civilized.
We do need to encourage the least part to follow the examples set by others, and not to stoop to the lowest level.

Oooh jealous. I loved it last year. It's very underrated I think and many just stick to the North Sea coastal route. Inland it's lovely. My only complaint was the lack of cake.
