Ironing in the garden? That is really weird! Definitely not mundane. I never, ever do ironing, but I'm thinking that if I had to do it, then the garden might be a little inconvenient...

In conditions such as this I sleep with a fan on the bedside table, on all night. My partner hates it - but I sleep.

Seriously, I have just finished re-reading Wuthering Heights after being inspired to do so after seeing a stage production of it recently when I was volunteer for the local arts festival.

I haven't read that for years, it was one of the few books at my granny's house so I used to read it each summer holiday!

Yes, it was the Beano Christmas Annual. Absolutely excellent.

I used to get the Beano when I was kid (every Thursday, I seem to remember) and the Annual at Xmas. I think it was my Dad who really liked it as he always read it before I could get my hands on it. I always preferred it to the Dandy, though. Hmmn... Dan-dy.

I have started to iron less than I used to but I don't like wearing clothes that you can tell haven't been ironed. I do love ironing in the garden. you just need an extension lead and a chair to put the ironed stuff on. I just love being outside, I wish there was a way of doing all the chores outside. If there's a weed to be pulled I'll do that rather than any cleaning inside.
