A bobble bottle is a plastic bottle with a charcoal filter in the moutpiece, which makes tap water taste less of chemicals and more of nothing, like water should. They're ridiculously over-priced (by which I mean it might well be a fair price for something made on the other side of the globe from a finite resource by people paid a decent wage) and I would imagine they're quite North-London-2014, but certain colours are being discontinued by one of the supermarkets, and I fel guilty using single use bottles, so I bought one.

A new one looks like this:

You need 300-400% RDA of calcium minimum (this is what my endocrinologist told me). Work out what your calcium tablets alone are giving you in the RDA levels and see how you can replicate that in your diet. The aclendonic acid is what I refused to go on to. I already have a damaged airway with tracheomalacia and bronchiectasis, plus acid reflux, not to mention being a severe asthmatic.

Plus the tablets only provide you with calcium and vitamin D. Bones need more than just that, boron and silica alone are two off the top of my head. It's well worth looking into it you don't want to have to keep taking those tablets until they decide you have been on them for the maximum time (5 years?).

Sounds good on the RDA. I'll have a check. The alendronic acid is a nasty for sure. So far I've coped but I know some who had to stop taking it. AFAIK it's to assist the absorption of Ca into the bone. You are wise to have avoided it given your pre-exisiting conditions. B and SiO2 are new to me. Sounds like I should do some serious reading. I'm not sure if there is a time limit on the supply of tablets tho'.

Thanks for all this.
