It was one of the Shopping channels,
There were selling air purifiers and I asked the question on how long the filters last,
Ho boy riveting stuff 🤣

The evening's hot chocolate has just been had - a 2/3rds size mugs worth as that was all the milk that was left in the bottle.

Looking at the rain radar, I think our Cambridgeshire correspondent may be getting a little bit wet at the moment

I've been going over the station - hotel walking route* for Wednesday's away day and realised that I'd not packed the overnight bag. Everything is ready, it just needs to be squeezed in so I'll do it in the morning. It looks to be nice and warm with no indication of rain in Manchester on Wednesday evening/Thursday morning.

* It goes past the venue, so no need to check the route from the hotel

28C here, but only 32% humidity.

A mostly sunny and scorchio day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well enough in this heat after making changes to the bedding. But still short changed. Got up, went downstairs, fed the cat, made myself a :cuppa: and took it back upstairs to do some writing. Good progress has been made, though trying to make a passage of text read (and sound) like it's been written by a 17 year old boy, is kind of challenging.

Down to do the chores at a more godly hour. Planters watered, laundry done, path quickly weeded, and then off to the garage to go through some books that had been stored in a cupboard unit there. That did not go well, as mice have chewed through the wood, chewed through the books and nested in the drawer. And of course, the books stored in there are mine, as the parental's books took precedence in the house.

My set of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is totally toast

Gave up and had a lovely luncheon of avocado on toast, plus a nice plate of chilled fruit (tangerine segments and kiwi slices) plus my usual pot of tea.

Did some more writing, then tried to sit outside with a book for a while, but my drive was 46C in the sun and 35 in the shade, so gave up and went back to making sense of the utility room. The result of which, is I have another bin liner for the tip, and another stack of books for the book exchange.

By then the temp had dropped, the wind had picked up, and I could see storm clouds bubbling up on the other side of the Hundred Foot. But I took a chance, and went for a bicycular bimble in the company of Rocky the Hardtail. I only did my short loop to Pymoor and back, but it was nice to get out. It was about 10C cooler than earlier.

Fabby supper of coronation turkey pasta and a side salad of lettuce, tomato and cucumber.

Now just chilling in the company of Madam Boo. Who I have to say, has spent the day on the dining room table, looking like she'd been painted by Salvador Dali.
