Finally got round to changing my winter tyres over to 'summer' slicks on my commuter last night. Also changed to a shorter stem which is helping already with lower back pain so it was clearly part of a problem I had. However when I rode the bike down the road I was going up and down like a clown on one of those circus bikes........I had managed to squeeze a 700 cc tube into a 26" tyre. ;)

Ooops...reminds me of when someone posted on here a long while back that they had a similar bouncy problem.. found out he had left a tyre lever inside the tyre....

He's a lot like me really; bald, often naked, trusting and hen-pecked. ;)
