"Avid cyclist Dermot Murnaghan's attempt to follow in the pedals of the Tour de France had an unexpected ending. The Sky News presenter, arriving dehydrated at the summit of one climb, was greeted by French picnickers who rushed to his aid. Says a colleague: They thrust a bottle into Dermot's hands. He took a huge gulp, only to discover it was Pernod."

Avid cyclist my @rse, otherwise he'd have been on top of his game and would have had plenty of fluids at hand. IMO, he's just another piggin journo trying to jump on the popular cycling 'bandwagon'.

@DermotMurnaghan, this isn't a bandwagon chump, this is a lifestyle.
