Music Festivals - which ones are you going to?

A bit early in the year maybe...

What music festivals might everyone be sampling this year?

I've already ordered me ticket for Green Man in August. Also contemplating Indietracks in July partly because I work at the railway but never been there on festival weekend. The other one I require is the fairly eccentric and bargainous Blyth Power Ashes (used to be Tallington Ashes) this year in Norfolk.

Previous years have been to V at Weston Park cos its not far away but have got a bit bored of that now.

I have decided not to do a festival this year (normally do Isle of Wight). Just going to a few gigs instead.

Just Splendour in Nottingham, I usually try to do one of the Hyde Park dates every year, but there just isn't anything I fancy so far. Belle & Sebastian are doing a few festivals in Europe this year so I'm on the look out for them doing warm up gigs.

No it's not early.

I bought my Knockengorroch ticket in December
I've also purchased Big Session in Leicester tickets
I'm almost certainly going to Sedburgh (ex-Dent) festival
Was tempted by RATM at Download but dissuaded by the ticket prices
Solfest remains a temptation.

If I hadn't already booked my return passage from Orange in mid-August, my cycle tour in France would start and end in Brittany taking in the Festival-Interceltique at Lorient. It's likely to be on the list for next year.

Been to Greenman twice - great festival in a beautiful place. Last year it was even sunny. But don't tell everyone!

Glastonbury, Priddy Folk Fest and Burnham on Sea Folk Fest. All within 20 minutes of home, actually the nearest venue for Burnham is a very short stroll down the road. I may try and get to a festival outside of Somerset if I can.

I'm going to cycle to one but haven't decided which one. I also quite fancy green man or indeed wickerman. I guess I just have to decide on my type of man...and music festival
