That was the title of a Concert at my daughter's school last night.two and a half hours of music and singing,it was superb.
For me three 'acts' took the show.a Piano solo,the Double Bass solo and finally the young man who played bagpipes,he played them last year solo,it was stunning (i like bagpipe music).
This year he went one step further,he brought a dozen of his mates.
The City of Leeds Pipe Band.What a show,it brought a tear to my eye,it also did the same to the lady sat next to me.We spoke and her dad had been in a Scottish Regiment,she was in her late 70's.
Finally the Concert Band played a selection from Les Miserables.What a way to finish a show,we shouted for more.
