Most of Deftones music is a bit creepy (I think anyway)...
Pink Maggit, creepy, atmospheric, moody...whichever you choose. ?.

I was just thinking about this the other day! I couldn't remember the title - just the fact that we used to watch it on Thursday mornings at school. I never could work out what that spinning box was supposed to be. But, wow, weren't opening sequences long in those days! 2 minutes of sitting looking at that box spinning round and around! No wonder it's been etched in my mind for so long!

Despite being a huge Cash fan I never liked Hurt. Just could never get into it although I've since taken a real liking to the Sandi Thom version which works much better imo.
It's kind of become iconic, but (although also a huge Cash fan) I never liked it either. The song simply doesn't 'go' with Johnny Cash imho.

There are loads of old 'classic' songs, still played regularly on the radio, which seem a little inappropriate in modern times... "Young girl... my love for you is way out of line... better run girl...you're much too young girl" etc.... and "Good morning little schoolgirl" and so on.

Indeed ... The one that came immediately to my mind was CCS's Tap Turns on the Water. I thought that the first couple of lines were creepy when the song was first released in the 1970s and they only sound creepier now!

Peek through the bathroom door ...

How did anybody ever think that was an appropriate start to a pop song? The BBC banned the rather sweet Je t'aime but were happy to broadcast TTotW!
