Recently found I much prefer having my tunes on while commuting. Always prefer something upbeat for cycling. Tiesto at the minute. ;)

What are you listening to?

One is greatly increasing one's chances of becoming roadkill by listening to music through headphones whilst cycling . Don't do it if only for your family and friends. You need all your senses 100% when cycling.

If people want to listen to music you should get a bike speaker.

OR, do what I did. Get some mini MP3 player speakers and stick them to your rucksack . Means I can listen to music, and still be able to hear everything which is going on...it also means that anyone who is near me can hear my fantastic music

If you listen to some of my newer cycling videos you may even be able to hear a bit of the music in the background

Should go on Critical Mass - Usually a few impressive sound systems to be heard.

i can listen to music and still hear the traffic, your eyes are far more important than your ears.If somethings gonna hit you from the rear it will happen music or not.
Besides i would rather listen to a tune of my choice rather than a spotty 17 yo tw*t in a citroen saxo
