Full report tomorrow then ... if you manage to get any sleep tonight ...

I've got to wait because the missus wants the daughter to be able to give me MW2 as a pressy for my birthday in a few weeks time.

It's going to be a long wait, so the more people can feed me snippets of how good it is, the better!!

Cheers,
Shaun

Just ordered an xbox bundle from Amazon, £209 for elite console, Fifa10, Borderlands and MW2  The other two games will be getting flogged.

I dont normally do online games because im so bad at them but tried this out this afternoon and...well im still very bad...but its been fun so far. And ive found out how to turn the volume of peoples headsets to zero so i dont need to listen to them!

Ive played about 10 games so far on the deathmatch or whatever its called and everytime ive finished last with stats like 3 kills and 30 deaths

Ah that brings back memories of when I first started playing COD4 online..... not that I'm such a great deal better at it now, but it's a lot more fun!

I stopped off at Morrisons to see if they were doing any offer on it, so at £25.99 it seemed daft not to, I probably won't play it until the weekend though.

A friend of mine is wetting himself at the prospect. He is a 35 year old policeman to boot.

I understand you can chat to each other on this, he relates a tale about how he was playing and chatting to someone whos said 'what ya been up to?' he said ' Jus got off late shift at work' reply 'ahh your not on school holidays then?' ....... an embarrassed no was the end of that converstation.

Was into "Arcade Games" in the 80's but not really the new one's - I've avoided getting involved on purpose(cause I know I'll like them) and I just have too much else on.

Know a 41 year old Policeman, 38 year old Building Inspector and 40 year old Petro-chemical plant manager, who where up at 00:00hrs last night to get theirs though!

Ps3 player here.

Its good. very good. The Russian airport stage is a bit gratuitous and violent, and a bit unnecessary if you ask me.
The online is all what the last one was, with even more whooping teenagers on it. I can see me getting quickly hooked on this

COD4 sucked!

Bring back COD2 B) Can't beat the old-skool feel of the WWII shooters.
I thought it was excellent, but then I haven't played any of the others. It was a bit too short for my liking, but I think that many played it on-line more than just playing the game itself to complete it.

Unsure whether I'll get MW2... seems much of the same (I have COD4 and Rainbow 6: Vegas 2, which is similar again).... but I might be pursuaded if I see it at "the right price" (and £20 from Mackro looks good, however I don't have a Makro card B))

Dissapointed with the Maps so far on MW2 online.

COD4 has Epic Maps
Backlot,Bloc,Bog,Countdown,Pipeline,Strike,Showdown and the most crazy one Shipment.

Got the game today, just wow.
Have just been playing multiplayer with housemates, love the points system and the ranks. It is infinitely better than the old one.

Anybody else got a kill streak of more then 25 yet and nuked the entire map killing everyone?:biggrin:

i got a kill streak of about 26 or 27 in COD4, but who is crazy enough to waist an unlock on that kill streak and then go for it!

I was easily getting 10+ kill streaks in the last game, but this is a lot harder, the maps are very open and your always attackable form various angles. Saying that i got a 16 kill streak in my first game, with a K/D ration of over 4 to 1
