York CTC rally cancelled.

I gather there is a move afoot among some rally goers to come and camp and congregate anyway, and talk about alternatives...

The Rally was definitely suffering from a lot of different problems, apparently CyclePromotions have gone bust, and they were a big source of income, while the racecourse was becoming more and more expensive and outdated.

Pity, I have lots of great memories from the rally.

It's a shame, but maybe it just outgrew itself, it can happen, but that doesn't mean it's the end just a new beginning. I hope some people can get together and make something happen which can keep the spirit alive. It doesn't need big budgets just imagination and will
