Fitted a new rear wheel this afternoon so I can sit up on the turbo and spin try and keep my legs over winter  seems to be the only thing broken just need to re-align the shifters as they moved on impact  anybody know the cheapest riser for the turbo?

A home made one. I use a couple of foam dumb bells.

I know this might sound mad, but do you have one of those saw angle guide thingies, that are for guiding the saw - we used to have one that was a wooden one which padded out it would hold the wheel tight and raised...

Sounds weird but I found a large Lego brick in my loft so packet it with wood and the raised bits hold the wheel in place haha

A mitre block?
yep that's the one... I had one like this... and with a little padding around the tyre, it could work as a front tyre riser (aka a thingy). put it on a copy of the yellow pages and you are away. think it costs around £6... but if the OP happened to have one...

Ah yeah i know what you mean. Excellent bit of bike kit that can also double up as a carpentry tool . It's actually a good cheap fix. Good idea.
