Had it about 7 weeks or so, first road bike and loving it!!

This weekend I've given the whole thing a good clean (mistakenly thought that lubricating the chain and gears meant covering the lot in a thick layer of oil. now cleaned right back and lubricated correctly), fitted the Look Keo Easy clipless pedals and changed the bar tape from the white (or distinctly off white by yesterday) to black.

I want to upgrade further but as it is going to be my winter commuter I will hang off fitting anything until the spring.

Nice bike. I too have just bought my first road bike, after most of my life on mountain bikes. I keep thinking about making upgrades, but I also decided to hold off until spring.

Nice bike. And totally agree with you waiting to upgrade until after the winter. Winter commuting eats components in no time.

Looks very nice. What's it like to ride? This'll sound a bit unlikely given how many bikes they sell, but I've never even sat on a Trek.

only road bike I've had so nothing to compare it to but I love it. Comfortable over longer distances, great on my commute and no technical problems what so ever.
