Oh, that's sad news. But he's in a better place now - whether you believe in that as a real concept, or just that he can now reside in your mind forever at his best.
I imagine he'll be perpetually hopping from foot to foot now, since there must be infinite (calorie free) biscuits in doggy heaven.

sorry to hear that, its very hard and harder than you think, i lost my boxer over a year ago and still cant go to his grave or talk about him.
I did get a puppy a few months ago and thats helped loads.

Sorry to hear the sad news yello ... I've been though it twice in my life time (both dogs lived to a ripe old age), its not easy at first, but it does get better.

Really sorry to hear that. We lost our Dog very recently and I was devestated, I just had no idea how hard I'd take it.
My very best wishes to you all and congratulations on taking on an elderly dog and providing a loving home in the first place. I'd love to think I could take on an old Dog and accept that the grief will come sooner rather than later but I'm not sure I could.
