Hey, I'm building my first bike from scratch and I've got a few questions, if anyone is feeling kind enough to help me out!
1. I need to buy a new BB as the current one is 127mm which is pretty long for a single fixed build, right? So what size BB should I buy, and what sized crankset should I get to go with it??
2. I'm going to set it up as a standard 42t/16t - how can I make sure that the chain alignment is correct between the back wheel and the chainset (I'm assuming that's based on the spacing on the back wheel hub, right?)
3. Can anyone recommend a good, light 26.8 seatpost?
Because this is my first build, is it worth just buying a set like these (to my specifications):

That would make it easier, as the BB/crankset come together so I know they would be right, and then the alignment wouldn't be an issue as I would buy the wheel with the hub and the cog already one it...
Please shed some light - this is my first build and I don't want it all to fall apart while I'm riding! (Obviously I will have it checked over by a mechanic before getting on..). I've been riding fixed for 2 years now, so that's not an issue.. The fact that fixed-gear is so simple, I've never had to learn how to assemble one myself! Please excuse my ignorance...
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
