Not sure about the ride home. Apparently it might rain which will be fun.

Only real heart in mouth moment was when a van decided to overtake me at the same time as something coming the other way. The person in the car coming the other way shouted "you stupid ****" (yes THAT word) which made me chuckle a bit

Blimey and I thought my rides were flat. Good distance though, doing that regularly will either get you fit or keep you fit.

Yep, gotta love the fens  Hopefully its a case of keeping me fit or getting me fitter  Probably only do it once or twice a week as I have to get up at 6am in order to get into work on time and then I dont get home till 7pm. Not ideal when i have a little one to look after.

Good distance but by gum that's a flat commute- quick bit of maths on ft/ mile and my commute is nearly 8 times hillier but only 1/3 the length- not sure which I prefer.

Well done and enjoy a day of cake before a ride home!

Ride home wasn't quite as much fun. It absolutely lashed it down for the last hour and I had my first ever off. Was pulling into a layby in order to move some stuff from my non-waterproof backpack into my little handlebar bag and didnt slow down enough. Hit gravel and bailed at about 15mph. No damage to the bike and a grazed left knee and left arm for me.

Does the office have a microwave oven? Works a treat!

Nope, not put me off. Doing a cycle home tonight and then cycling in tomorrow morning. Also did some slight alterations on the bike such as flipping the stem and a slight bit of rotation on the bars to hopefully make it a bit more comfortable.

(or maybe not, as i've just checked the weather forecast and its going to be horrendous in the morning)
