Thank you just been out playing with the gears and generally learning what does what - beautiful evening could see the Lake District so clear! Anyway it goes like sh*t off a shovel!!!!!!! I'm dead chuffed AND it's living up to it's name brakes are bob on! I'm just planning my 30 miler now....

Yes they are carbon forks. I have pm'd you about a ride one evening. Just about to go out as today I've been mainly teararsing up and down the M6 for 'im indoors to have a look at Evans in Kendal plus the two LBS and got nowt still never mind not worth spending loads of money on something you're not happy with

thanks i'm overwhelmed by the good wishes

I nipped down to show my stepdad this evening (he only lives half a mile away all downhill) and he was suitably impressed. THEN I had to cycle uphill (there are two ways the long slow steady incline or the Up an atcha hill) so i did the up an atcha bliss
